"Each article of jewellery in this collection is imprinted with a real seedhead gathered from wild plants growing by chance in my garden in Kent, England. I can only use each seedhead once, so all the jewellery made this way is as unique as a fingerprint.
I have deliberately left the surface imperfections on the seedhead plaques in this collection rather than polishing them away. This is to reflect the natural honesty and spontaneous character of the plant, and the way it is so much a part of the earth that bore it. The fine detail of the surface texture adds interest and individuality to the finished jewellery.
