Would you like to try your hand at making jewellery in your own designs using copper or silver, maybe with beads or gemstones? Do you have a crystal collection that you'd love to turn into something wearable?

I can help you to design for yourself or a loved one in silver or copper, using a wide range of techniques and the option of beads or semi-precious gemstones. I teach wire wrapping and weaving, silversmithing techniques such as piercing (sawing), filing, soldering and texturing, and silver clay using my own kiln.

The classes take place in my purpose-built studio in Hildenborough, Tonbridge, at times and dates to suit you. You can use your hours one by one, all together, or anywhere inbetween. I offer private and group sessions of up to 4 students.

The classes are £30 per hour for private classes, and £20 per hour for group sessions (if available). Minimum booking is 5 hours.

Group sessions depend on someone else being interested in the same class times as you. For this reason, please only book them after I’ve confirmed there’s someone who wants learn with you. Private sessions will allow me to spend all my attention on you and tailor the class to be exactly what you need. 

For bookings under 10 hours, materials costs are not included (although wholesale silver and gemstones cost less than you might expect!). For 10 or more hours booked together, I'll include up to £5 materials for each hour booked. Depending on what you want to do, this should cover most if not all of your materials costs. Feel free to bring your own stones etc, or ask me to order in something specially.
