This long line 60cm/24" necklace is made from large faceted chunks of subtly gleaming labradorite and fiery glowing amber, separated by charcoal black haematite, with a handmade sterling silver clasp at the back.

Labradorite is an igneous gemstone formed by volcanic activity, and the dark greys with the deep orange amber conjure up to me a volcanic flow blackening, oozing and hardening as it cools, with glimpses of red-hot lava showing through tears in the darkening surface. The gleams from the labradorite add unexpected flashes of movement and magic.
